My Most Read Authors
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!
I’m honestly not 100% sure of these. I’ve only been on Goodreads for the last couple years so I haven’t always kept the best records. I don’t have the greatest memory…And I’ve read a lot of books. From what I can tell, there are some ties… But, here we go!
1) William Shakespeare
Not totally sure of the number, but I’ve read at least 10 of Shakespeare’s plays and many of his sonnets as well.
2) Sophie Kinsella
I’ve read 10 of Kinsella’s books, and that number will increase shortly! I’m going to read more of the Shopaholic books soon :D Kinsella is one of my favourite authors—I’m going to read anything that lady writes.
3) Philippa Gregory
I’ve read 10 of Gregory’s books so far. It’s been a while since I’ve picked one of her’s up, but I’ve been craving some historical fiction so maybe I’ll read some more soon!
4) Louise Rennison
I’ve read 10 of Rennison’s books—The complete Georgia Nicholson series! This was one of my absolute faves in junior high! So hysterical!
5) Sarah Dessen
As a teen, Dessen’s books were my favourite. In high school I read every one of her books that were published then! I’ve read 9 of her books so far, and have 3 more on my shelves!
6) Jodi Picoult
It’s been a while since I read one of Picoult’s book, but I have 4 waiting for me, and I have already read 8!
7) Jane Austen
I’ve read all of Austen’s novels and juvenilia! So, I think that’s 7? Austen’s my fave. My favourite of hers is a tie between Emma and Pride & Prejudice!
8) JK Rowling
I’ve obvious read all of the Harry Potter books, so that makes 7. I also have The Casual Vacancy but I haven’t read it yet. I must say, The Prisoner of Azkaban is clearly the best one.
9) Stephen King
I think I’ve read 6 Stephen King books. I’m not 100% sure. But something like that! I’ve got a ton more than that and I am definitely going to read them in the not too distant future!
10) Gayle Forman
I’ve read 5 of Foreman’s books and loved them all!
11) Chevy Stevens
Thought I would include an 11th since it’s a tie! I’ve read all of Stevens’ books and enjoyed them! A great Canadian mystery/thriller writer! :)
