Top Ten Tuesday #5: New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2014

Top 10 Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish

You may have noticed, but I haven't posted for the last few Tuesdays... Sorry! Here is my Top Ten for this week! The best New-to-me authors I read in 2014!

Emma Healey
As you can tell from my last post (IE THE GIST: Elizabeth Is Missing) I loved Healey’s work. Eagerly awaiting her next novel.

Tom Rachman
I read The Rise & Fall of Great Powers this summer and adored it. I am definitely going to buy Rachman’s next book, and read his last!

MR Carey
The Girl With All the Gifts. Hello. That book was fab.

Jonathan Tropper
I read This is Where I Leave You in anticipation of the film adaptation. I really enjoyed it! It was poignant, witty, and funny, and I will have to read more of Tropper’s work.

Kelley Armstrong
I read Omens earlier in the year and loved it. I bought the second in the series, Visions, the day it came out!

Joanna Hickson
I did a book tour for her novel The Agincourt Bride. It was so good. I love royal historical fiction!

Chevy Stevens
A friend recommended this author to me. I read three of her books this year and have another in my TBR pile!

Heather Gudenkauf
I read two of her books this year and really enjoyed them. They had a hint of Jodi Picoult to them!

SJ Watson
Before I Go To Sleep was one of the best books I read this year. Thrillers are my fav.

Kimberly McCreight
Again, Reconstructing Amelia is one of the best books I read this year. I’m on the book tour for McCreight’s next novel! So excited! Check back in 2015 for more info.

Those are my top ten. What about you?
